Whether you are looking for a new way to enjoy the outdoors or an experienced trail rider coming to Elk Valley for the first time, this full day adventure is a great way to escape the ordinary.
We will help you coordinate rentals and gear with one of our local suppliers and make it easy for you to experience a sled adventure here in the Southern Rocky Mountains. Certified guides will show you the sights and demonstrate riding techniques to get the feel of what backcountry riding in Fernie, BC is all about. No experience necessary.

Our mission is simple; deliver outstanding riding that will fuel your ‘ferniestoke’. Whether you have your own sled or need a rental, we will ensure your day runs smoothly and take your riding farther.
Our certified guides will help develop the fundamental skills required to travel off trail into suitable terrain. Take advantage of their local experience and knowledge to improve your confidence, learn new skills, and explore new riding areas. They may even help with a ski pull or two… or three.

We are not just here to limit your risk and show you the way. A guided day offers a unique opportunity to sled with someone who can provide a mountain mentor-ship, inspire adventure, and take your riding farther.
Our staff are spirited locals, passionate about sledding, with in depth knowledge of local terrain and current conditions. All guides have professional level certification in avalanche hazard evaluation, risk management, weather analysis, and emergency first aid and rescue techniques.
